Reporting a COVID-19 case during October half term holidays 2021

Thank you to all parents/carers for continuing to contact us in a timely manner, allowing us to respond swiftly to any positive cases that have come into the academy. It is important that we continue to identify any new positive cases, so we can respond swiftly and provide appropriate advice and guidance.

As we enter the October 2021 Half Term Holidays, it would be greatly appreciated if you could follow the below procedures:

Please notify us of a positive case by completing the online form: Reporting Positive Cases to A360.

This form must be completed as soon as possible, in full. Students who have received a positive COVID-19 PCR result will need to follow the ‘stay at home’ guidelines. A member of staff will be in touch the week commencing 1st November 2021 to discuss next steps.

Students will no longer be required to self-isolate if they are contacted by NHS Test and Trace as a close contact of a positive case. Instead, students will be contacted by NHS Test and Trace, informed that they have been in close contact with a positive case and will be advised to take a PCR test. We strongly recommend that students undertake a PCR test in line with the advice given. Academy 360 are no longer required to undertake contact tracing.

Students who have been identified during the October holidays, as a close contact to a positive case, and have completed a PCR; can return to the Academy on the 1st November 2021, if a negative result is received. If a positive result is received, they must follow the ‘stay at home’ guidelines, and engage with the NHS Test and Trace Process. Please also let the Academy know by completing online formReporting Positive Cases to A360.

Thank you for your cooperation.
