89 of our Year 9 pupils had the opportunity to take part in one-to-one career coaching interviews, an important step in helping them start thinking about their future career pathways.

These sessions were designed to build confidence, improve communication skills and encourage students to explore the wide range of opportunities available beyond school.

Each student spent time with a volunteer business ambassador, gaining personalised advice and insights into different industries. From learning about the skills employers value to understanding the variety of roles within sectors, the experience gave students a real-world perspective on what their future could look like.

We are incredibly grateful to the brilliant team at My Big Career for organising the event and bringing together such a diverse group of volunteers. Their support ensures our students can benefit from meaningful conversations with professionals who generously give up their time to inspire the next generation.

"Speaking to strangers one-to-one can be daunting, but our Year 8 students absolutely rose to the challenge. We are proud of our students for giving it a go and making the most of the opportunity."
