Reach out for Support

Governance

The Laidlaw Schools Trust Board of Trustees has implemented changes to Academy 360’s governance structure. An Interim Executive Board (IEB) has been appointed to undertake the responsibilities normally held by the Local Governing Committee (LGC).

The IEB will provide innovative, focused and strategic support to help the Academy achieve the objectives set out in its rapid improvement plan. Its role is to deliver effective governance and leadership through an action-oriented approach, drawing on the collective expertise of experienced professionals to drive progress and ensure all students are supported to reach their full potential. Members of the IEB bring a broad range of skills, knowledge, and professional experience. Working closely with the school’s leadership team, the IEB is committed to maintaining a clear and effective focus on sustained school improvement.

As the Academy is part of the Laidlaw Schools Trust, there is a board of trustees who are responsible for the work of the Trust, including the running of the academies. Further information is available on the Governance section of the Trust’s website.
