Our Careers Programme

At Academy 360, our careers programme is designed to raise aspirations, broaden horizons, and prepare students for life beyond school. It is fully aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks and Ofsted’s Personal Development strand, ensuring every student has access to high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance.

What we offer:

• Career Insight Days – Visits to employers across different a range of sectors.
• Experiences of the Workplace – Including trips to Nissan and other leading organisations as well as Work Experience in Year 10
• STEM Festival and Coding Club – Linking careers with the curriculum.
• Regular Assemblies – Employers and FE/HE providers speak directly to students about opportunities.
• Career Discovery Days – University visits to explore higher education.
• Further Education Taster Days – Year 10 students experience local colleges and training providers.
• One-to-One Careers Guidance – Year 11 students receive personalised advice and application support from Career Wave.
• Future Friday – Weekly sessions focused on job sectors, employability skills, job sectors as well as further and higher education options

Our aim is to ensure every student leaves Academy 360 confident, informed, and ready for their next steps in education, employment, or training.

Our Careers Programme is regularly evaluated each year, taking account of local market information, pupil needs, local opportunties as well as pupil, parents, staff and employer feedback, to ensure that it is reflective of our careers vision
