Careers Information

In the Primary Phase at Academy 360 Careers, related learning is interwoven throughout the fabric of our curriculum; in all subjects taught, as well as through specific CRL sessions, pupils are involved in meaningful and purposeful discussions and acquire a range of skills that will enable their progression to their next steps in education and future employment.

Our CRL offer is also specifically focused on our pupils' local contexts; by equipping our students with relevant, specific skills and affording them a keen awareness of the local careers market, our learners leave KS2 with a secure and confident understanding of the opportunities that they may have access to on a local, regional and national basis.

During the academic year, our Primary Phase pupils access a wide range of key events, both on-site and out of school. These events regularly include workshops with local employers, industry representative visits and our annual National Careers Week programme. Over recent years, our careers provision has grown considerably in its breadth of coverage and the authenticity of pupils' involvement.

Academy 360 now benefits from an established range of opportunities, carefully curated to support our pupils, regardless of their age, attainment, SEND needs or areas of interest. Our school promotes pupils' high aspirations and the widening of their range of careers opportunities; all pupils at our school are nurtured and encouraged to realise their potential and raise their aspirations.
