School Meals

We use fresh ingredients to create a varied choice of healthy homemade dishes, using seasonal menus which we change twice a year.

Daily choices include two main dishes, plus a vegetarian choice, with lighter options such as baked potatoes, sandwiches, salad/pasta boxes, wraps, and paninis. A free salad bar is available daily to encourage healthy choices.

All our dishes are allergen tested and in line with school food standards to promote health and wellbeing.

We firmly believe in promoting healthier choices and our catering team provides taster sessions to encourage our students to try new flavours, tastes and cuisine.

Pupils who are entitled to free school meals have a daily allocation added to their account. This will purchase a main course, a dessert and drink to the equivalent value.

Pupils can also opt to bring a packed lunch to school. Please inform our main office on 0191 300 6506 if you wish to provide your child with a daily packed lunch.

Please note that energy drinks are not permitted at our Academy, including within student packed lunches.

Parents can pay for school meals using our Parent Pay online service.
