The grand opening is the result of £93,000 worth of investment and has been designed to create an extraordinary and inspirational learning environment for Academy 360 students that focuses on improving outcomes, and supporting learners between the ages of 4-16 to develop the wider-skills that will enable them to succeed in their future aspirations. The Laidlaw Resource Centre, provides students with an inspiring learning environment with a purpose-built library, Careers Hub, Academic Study Zones, dedicated independent and small group study spaces, digital study areas and dedicated literacy classrooms.

Academy Principal, Ms. Donohue said “I am delighted that A360 has been able to enhance its exceptional facilities further with a multi-purpose resource centre for learners.  We believe that every student will benefit from the facility that provides an inspiring environment for children of all ages.”

In July 2022, Academy 360 was officially deemed ‘Good’ by Ofsted inspectors who praised its “aspirational” students “committed to their studies”.
