Year 9 Visit Nissan

A group of Year 9 pupils from Academy 360 had the exciting opportunity to visit Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK in Sunderland to explore careers in the manufacturing industry.

During the visit, pupils were taken on a guided tour of the vast production plant, where they observed the detailed process involved in building a car from the ground up. The visit provided a valuable insight into the scale, precision, and teamwork required in automotive manufacturing, as well as the importance of quality control at every stage.

To round off the experience, pupils took part in a skills challenge designed to test their teamwork and attention to detail - key qualities for a successful career in this field.
