Year 7 Pupils Praised at National Armed Forces and Emergency Services Event
Back
A group of our Year 7 pupils represented the school superbly during a visit to the National Armed Forces and Emergency Services Event 2026 at the Stadium of Light.
Throughout the day, pupils explored the interactive STEM Village and met employers and professionals from across the Armed Forces, Emergency Services and STEM industries. They demonstrated excellent confidence and maturity while speaking with exhibitors and learning more about the wide range of future career opportunities available to them.
Students had the opportunity to engage with organisations including RAF UK Space Command, the British Army, Foundation of Light, British Esports Federation, Nissan and Network Rail, alongside many other exhibitors who inspired and encouraged young people throughout the event.
We were especially proud to receive praise from the Head of the National Armed Forces and Emergency Services Events team, who commended our pupils for their behaviour, enthusiasm and engagement during the visit.
The event was a fantastic experience for our students, helping to broaden horizons, inspire ambition and showcase the very best of our school community.
