Academy 360 is delighted to announce the successful participation of our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils in the Coronation Garden project, an inspiring community initiative in the heart of Pennywell. This project provided our students with a meaningful opportunity to engage with their community and contribute positively to the local environment.

Fostering strong community links is a cornerstone of our school's ethos, and the Coronation Garden project exemplified this commitment. Our students eagerly collaborated with local community members, participating in weeding activities and learning about the future plans and ongoing involvement with the garden.

On 14th June, we had the honour of attending the official opening of the Coronation Garden, followed by a celebratory lunch. This memorable event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and the support of the Pennywell community.

"I am absolutely thrilled that we were able to strengthen further links with the Pennywell community and work with local families and businesses to create further opportunities in Pennywell. I am extremely proud of the students from our primary phase and their contributions towards this project," said David Amos, Academy Principal.

Helena West, Head of Primary, added, "I am incredibly proud of our students, who have proven to be outstanding advocates and ambassadors for both Academy 360 and the Pennywell community. Their enthusiasm and dedication to the project were truly commendable."

Mrs Osman, Year 3 Class Teacher, shared her excitement: "The children were very keen to be involved in the project and are eager to continue their engagement with the garden in the future."

This project not only enriched our students' learning experiences but also strengthened the bond between Academy 360 and the Pennywell community. We look forward to witnessing the continued positive impact of this initiative on our students and the broader community.
