At Academy 360, learning about careers and the working world has never been as important as it is today for our pupils. In today’s society, they are faced with a complex and challenging landscape of education, employment and training that is constantly evolving and developing.

We aim to respond to the needs of students, to labour market information and to employers, while ensuring we equip our children with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen career paths.

We have a strong commitment to social mobility and aim to raise the career aspirations of our students through first-hand experiences, conversations and guidance from an early age; we believe this is the key to helping young people make informed and positive choices when choosing a career pathway.

We have a whole-school approach to careers education, advice and guidance (CEIAG) which is imperative to ensure our children realise their early education is a stepping stone to their chosen career paths. It is the responsibility of all staff to engage in conversations and highlight links to careers and employability skills throughout the academy.
